Catch up...

I missed Sunday?  The one day I usually have more time to do stuff like this!  Well, I'll post two today-
There are too many people in my life who have rekindled my light to list.  I think everyone I've come to get to know and love, has done something to make me feel better about myself, or I simply wouldn't waste my time with them.

It would be really hard to narrow down who I would send a thank-you to, but there are always the obvious ones. So, here goes...

Mom-
I want you to know how grateful I am for your influence in my life.  I am so lucky to have  you!  I always fall back on your example when I'm frustrated and I don't want to do something... you always did everything.  I think of you when I don't want to clean my house... our house was always spotless.  I think about you when I don't want to go to work... you didn't work much outside the home while I was young, but whatever you did, you did better than anyone, and with an amazing attitude.  You put your whole heart into everything you do- into us as your children, into school and work, into your grandkids...You truly are a great example.  I have always been proud to say I'm your daughter, and my children couldn't ask for a better Grandma!  Thank you for everything you do... I love you so much!
Love, Stephanie

Dad-
You amaze me.  Your example of generosity will never be something I forget.  I've never seen someone give so much, ever.  You taught me to give what I can- that through giving, and through service, we get the most joy.  I'm grateful for your example of hard work, but more struck by your ability to make and keep friends in your life. You'd give your right arm for a friend, I know it!  Through all of your trials, you've never shown an ounce of self pity- something I could never do!  You have a great way of seeing the other side of things, and never let me make a decision, or hold a grudge without considering the other side of things. You taught me to care for myself, and others, to laugh at myself, admit when I'm wrong and deal with the consequences when I made a bad decision.  I know I made a few.  Thank you for all you've done for me!  I love you!
Love, Stephanie

Anah-
I couldn't have asked for a better mother-in-law.  Thank you for all you do.  I have a best friend I can always call for a lunch date- someone I can vent to, someone who will listen and give advice when I need it.  I can call with a simple "duh" kind of question, and you don't laugh at me.  I can tell you all the things that are making me crazy, and whether or not you agree, you always make me feel better.  I am blown away by your patience, and I love that you put up with my teasing, and want you to know how much I love you.  Thank you for the Grandma that you are to my kids.  They love you, they love the time you spend with them... we all do!
Love you!  Stephanie
