Vacation Day at the Park...

Isn't she gorgeous?My handsome boy...
We spent the afternoon with our friends the Frew's at the park. The kids had so much fun, and it was such a nice time for us to just sit and talk! Lori and I never have a hard time finding something to talk about- it's always a fun time! I got so many cute pictures, hoping to get more with the fall colors and the leaves on the ground. Usually the park is covered with leaves this late in the year, but they must have a better clean-up crew this year! Oh well, regardless of the leaf situation, we got some of the cutest pictures of the kids playing. These are a couple of my favorites, but there are so many, I'll have to make a slide show of all the rest!

On a side note, I have to tell a little funny. I teach the second Sunday lesson in RS at our church, so last week I gave the lesson. I've had a wicked toothache now for a week- waiting for someone to cancel their appointment with the dentist, and in the meantime, he's put me on an antibiotic and Lortab for the pain. Well, Lortab works opposite on me as it does on others, it makes me jittery and talkative, almost hyper! So, of course I took one before church (what was I thinking?) and when I gave my lesson, I was a little off the wall. I laughed, I cried and I begged for anyone who needs furniture to come buy it from me cause I have had the worst month in sales- and I work on straight commision. I was kidding of course, actually talking about some of the things we deal with on a daily basis that require faith- anyway, lo and behold some of the wonderful people from my ward came in to look at furniture- even buy it! I love my ward. I love my calling. I really wish my tooth would get fixed.

For those of you who come, or are interested in coming to my card class- I'm back at it...looks like for Christmas cards at least. Robin has me scheduled for the second Thursday in November for the Christmas card class- aparently it will be at the store, no word yet on an actual sale! For any of you who have never been but might want to, COME! We have so much fun, you don't have to be a crafty person (I do most of the work before hand) and it's just a fun, social night out. I'm also hosting a Stampin' Up! party on October 28th at 7pm, if you don't get an invite it's cause you live too far away- but I'd love it if you came anyway! I really don't expect people to buy anything, it's just an excuse to get together and do something fun... plus I get GREAT card class ideas!

Your lesson was great! Don't you worry one bit. Sometimes painkillers bring out the best in us right??? I wish I had some money for some furniture, and you know I would help you out-even if I have other relatives working there! I hope your tooth gets fixed soon, cute park pics, and I will see about signing up for you class!!! Heaven knows I need help. ttyl

Yes, your kids are super cute! I'm sorry about the tooth, but welcome to my world or being overly talkitive and saying things before actually thinking. I don't even need meds for that.
you are so creative and busy. I am starting to feel a little boring!
