A Quick Trip to Crazy!

The destination didn't start out as crazy- actually I was going to visit my family for a couple of days. My beautiful mom had her 44th birthday- but she doesn't look a day over 30... ;-) And though it rained all day, it was fun to get together with the family for dinner that night. I have to tell you a little about my mom. I have always been so proud to have her as my mom. She is BEAUTIFUL! And she's organized, thorough, brilliant and creative. She won't admit to any of these things, but she's been an amazing example to me of how much potential I have! She runs, she rides, she plays golf, tennis and she ski's...she's always busy! She is a dedicated nurse and an amazing "people person." There isn't a person she meets that doesn't end up her friend. I love you so much mom- thank you for all you do and Happy 44th!
I was also able to visit my newest little niece, Bella. My brother John and his wife Loreli just had their third. She is perfect in every way. She even cries perfect! I got the opportunity to take pictures of her, and found out the hard way that I have A LOT to learn about taking portraits. I took a few of their other 2 kids too, and I hope she doesn't mind me sharing them on my blog! I also put up some of my other favorites on my photo blog at stephanietakespictures.blogspot.com- if you're bored you can check them out, and if you have any advice- leave a comment. I desperately need a new camera...I would have gotten a ton more if I could have adjusted the light and shutter speed. Maybe someday!
Crazy came in on the way home. First off, I left too late, and I knew it. It was around 8:15 pm when we left, and the kids fell asleep about 9:00, and I though I had it made. About 5 minutes out of Vernal though all %^$# broke loose. Ali puked in the back seat, Gage puked after smelling Ali's puke, and I still want to puke thinking about it! There I was in Crazy, all by myself on the side of the road, armed with a water bottle to squirt off the rubber floor matt in my car, and an old t-shirt (I donated to the sage brush between here and there) to clean off the carpet. I think the canyon, and the full belly was a little much for the two of them! And that trip was a little too much for me. Forgive me family, if I don't come visit for a while...we need to let it settle a bit!

You are so sweet Stephanie!! I am sorry that the kids got sick. That is not fun to have to clean that up in the dark by yourself. Thanks again for your comments! It made my day--actually, it made my YEAR! Love you, Mom

P.S. That would be my 44 year right? hehe...

I am so so so so sorry you had to endure not only one puking child, but 2! You are a stronger woman than me. I would have been right there next to them and then called Zack to come clean it all up! Give me blood & guts, but keep the half digested dinner to yourself! Your family is beautiful! I love to read your posts too! Miss you! ~Andrea
