Fun Friday...kind of?

I had to work this morning. Our semi-annual "Tent Sale" started at 9AM and I had to be there early to set up. It's more like a glorified garage sale- but the deals are great, if you can put up with the crowd that it draws...

I got off work about 1:30 in the afternoon and the kids were with my wonderful mother-in-law till I was able to come and get them. We went to lunch- the 4 of us and decided to go to the movie. We have all been wanting to see Where the Wild Things Are, despite what we've heard from others, saying it might not be the best kid show. I loved it, Gage and Ali seemed to love it, and I think Anah loved it too! Although, it is a pretty heavy show. At one point I looked through my own tears to see little Gage struggling not to cry and Ali in sobs- even Anah was wiping tears! I think a lot of the show went over my kids heads, but I thought it was great...really makes you think about your childhood- those moments when you thought you had it so rough.

Tomorrow I have to work too. I'll be leaving early to get to Springville though. One of my favorite people in the world is turning 80, and I can't wait to see him, and the rest of my family in Delta on Sunday! Grandpa Bob is really 80? It seems so weird, grandparents are the best invention in the world, and they shouldn't age...I don't think. I was happy enough to be going that I agreed to make pumpkin rolls to help out. I don't mind one bit- but they aren't my favorite thing to eat! Maybe it's good though, cause heaven knows I don't need it!

So, wish me luck on this whirl wind trip. My kids hate to be in the car... I only pray we can avoid bodily fluids being spewed or leaked on the way!

Thanks so much Stephanie. I know that it is a major hassel for you on a weekend. Well, it is anytime. Hopefully, it will all be worth it. Can't wait to see all of you!
