It's been a stressful past couple of days. As the Compassionate Service Leader in my ward, I had the unfortunate duty of organizing a funeral luncheon. I have to say, there's no way I could do it all on my own- but luckily I didn't have to. I love the women in my ward and I'm sad that this particular lady passed away, but she struggled with diabetes and though it came too soon for most of us here, I think she's a lot happier where she is. There's a lot that goes into the organization of a luncheon! I have given out about 40 assignments, and I still have about 17 I'm hoping I can assign at church tomorrow. It's nice that so many people are willing to help- this job is a lot of being on the phone, but I'll never take for granted the women of our church's willingness to serve.

Work is slow, and we had the semi-annual tent sale this weekend. Did I mention before that I HATE the tent sale? There are great deals, but a lot of people think of it as a garage sale, and they try their hardest to barter the prices down. In some cases they can- which makes us look pretty incredulous when we can't! Fighting with people is not what I consider a good days work no matter what I sell.

At our little photo-shoot the other night I got a few of Jon with the kids. One of these days I'll get a photo of the whole family that I don't feel like I've ruined! But these did turn out cute!
