A Lesson in Patience...

I'm not a great example of patience. Actually I'm a far cry from anything patience related. I've come a long way- but the only example I am of patience-even now is what not to do.  I can't stand constant repetitive noise- pens clicking- fingernails tapping- KIDS FIGHTING...  I don't have patience while driving, and I don't like to wait for anything or anyone.  So, it was no surprise to me that my kids would turn out the same way- but I had to laugh when I saw this...
If you can't tell what it is- it's one of those chocolate oranges.  You're supposed to whack them on a hard surface to break them apart and then eat the segments... but Gage couldn't get them to separate- and finally got impatient enough and this was the result.  The funniest part was that Jon and I both knew who had done it, the "large" teeth were kind of a dead give away,  (Poor kid, got my teeth- I just have to keep reminding him that he will grow into them!) but Gage thought he'd be in trouble for it and wanted to deny it... hmmm.

Oh, my gosh! I died laughing when I saw this picture, I would have never guessed in a million years that it was a chocolate orange!

I HATE repetitive noises as well! Nothing gets on my nerves faster!

Oh well, it tastes the same whether you eat it in segments or the whole thing a little bite at a time...Maybe you should be glad that it is cold and that it isn't melting in his hand as he tries to devour it! Can you just imagine eating that on a hot summer afternoon... He is so funny. So fun seeing you last weekend! Let's go to Park City soon!
