Day 4- A Habit You Wish You Didn't Have...

Wow, only one? When Jon read over the list the first thing he said was, "Number four should be Diet Pepsi." He's probably right, but I don't wish I didn't drink it- I just wish it was better for me than water. I would have to say- the habit I hate most is- dare I admit it? I'm a flake. I forget- a lot. I tell myself all the time that I need to be better with the follow through. I need to try harder- and I still struggle! It HAS become a habit, and as much as I don't like it about me- it's a HARD one to change! It's not like reaching in the fridge for a bubbly beverage knowing that my risk for a heart attack or stroke is more than DOUBLE what it would be if I would opt for water- it's something I have to THINK CONSTANTLY about. I have to WRITE everything down, and I have to ask myself continually if there is something I may have forgotten. It's a battle against my brain- something I wish I didn't have to deal with- but here's to the daily grind!

Hummmmm, do you know that Diet Pepsi has been linked to memory loss and a lack of follow through? Yep, read it in the Journal of Medicine just recently. You and Jon can both rest easy now. Read my "Paraprosdokians" list...#1 hehe.
