Springtime!

Spring and I have a love/hate relationship. It loves to mess with me, and I hate it. I actually love that the days are getting longer, the sun makes it's presence known every once in a while, and the flowers are blooming- but my favorite thing about spring is the rain. I've always maintained that I could be very happy living back in Oregon permanently. I love the rain. I love the green, I love the smell and now that I'm so involved with photography- I LOVE the light!

Ali went to school in the rain the other day and when she came home she was upset because she'd been left out at recess. Apparently, she didn't fit with all the other girls under the umbrella. Well, mommy can't have that! I couldn't decide if it was more the look in her eyes, or the zebra print umbrella that broke me. Whatever the case, now Ali gets to decide who "fits" under HER umbrella.
I never shared a picture of my Mothers Day present.  I look forward to this every year... Jon did such a great job this year- these are my favorite ones yet!

And as pretty as they are already- I can't wait to see how well they fill in through the summer!  (If we can keep them alive!)

I love/hate the spring also!!! I am just done with the cold. My kids too. I just have to say, I am not looking forward to my kids having sad days at school. It's so sad when they have their little feelings hurt. It makes you all angry and protective. I am glad you cheered her up! The flowers are gorgeous. Good job Jon. Love LoR

LOVE,LOVE,LOVE the zebra umbrella! I don't think that she should worry about sharing it with anyone...Guess that's not very nice is it ;) Your flowers are so pretty. Dad brought me a hanging basket home and that night it blew off the hanger TWICE. It has been over watered because of the tremendous amounts of rain...OFF THE ROOF...and whipped around because of the winds. The cone that it was once planted in now resembles a witches hat with a crook in it...I'm pretty sure it's not going to last until JUNE! Sad, it was very pretty when he so thoughtfully brought it to me. Are you coming home soon? I miss you and the kidos...even Jon!

Will you please stop making the cutest blog backgrounds ever? I hate that I cannot make these as cute as you.

I don't mind the rain, but I hate the mud that it brings. I guess that is my own fault for living at the end of a dirt road. I really am just ready for the rain to stop and the sun to shine.

I love the rain too but right now I am ready for less rain and more sun!
