Summertime...

Summer is official. We're still trying to regulate up here in the basin- it's cold, it's hot, it's WINDY...of course. But today was a beautiful day. I've been working a TON lately, and the little time I have with my kids, I'm doing my best to LIVE IT UP! Today we went to the splash park- the kids had so much fun! They played, they got wet, and they got sunburned! Afterwards, we came home and found more water to play in! Isn't that what summer is about? And how about those mosquitoes? Every year I can't believe how bad they are. Every year I look at the ravaged skin of my beautiful little ones and wonder how on earth it could be any worse! We've had the fogging truck come through the neighborhood once, but it didn't seem to help at all. They are horrible! Despite the bites and burns, it's so hard to get the kids in for the night!
