It's Fall Y'all!

I know, it's everyone's favorite season, and I am not one to conform very often, but there's just something about it! I love the smells.  I love the crisp air.  I LOVE Halloween.  I love comfort food and lap blankets.  I love warm light and the colors of fall.  I do not however...like the darkness coming so early.  Vernal has already had a good snow...

The kids were in heaven and my house was a disaster, reminding me how unexcited I am for winter. But an even bigger drawback to the snow is that it sucked all the color out of this town, and all the yellows from one of the prettiest falls I've seen were gone when it melted.

I've been so busy with so many things.  We have a primary program coming up.  I've taken thousands of pictures, and work is getting busier.  Halloween is today, and I've just now gotten ready for it- only doing the least amount required!  Our ward still does "trunk-or-treat" and my kids aren't thrilled about it.  They want to go out and really GO trick or treating, and I think they should! You should have to work for all that candy! I'll have to post pictures of their costumes.  It could be interesting!

We spent the weekend in Springville over UEA weekend.  Jon got to go to North Carolina (so glad he picked the weekend he did!) and we spent the time with Grandma and Grandpa- and Rozzy and Charly.  We got to visit the Pumpkin Patch and even carved pumpkins that night.  Playing in the leaves was definitely more fun for the littles than it was for Gage and Ali- but they played along well.  We love hanging out with the cousins!
