We couldn't have had a better day. The epitome of Spring weather- and it stayed all day! I took advantage of it today- taking the kids to the park and spending some time with my wonderful friends visiting while my cute kids played their guts out! The new Naples City Park is amazing. I can't see my kids being happy with any other park, ever again! We were there for over 2 hours, but it didn't seem like it. The kids played without fighting, without begging for treats or drinks- it was divine! I only wish I knew for sure if the weather were here to stay. I'm betting not.
Is it horrible to say that I hate spring? I LOVE the idea of spring. I love it when my flowers start to grow, I love the grass greening up and I love the sound of the birds. I even love the rain- the RAIN! Not the snow. Not the mud. Not the roller-coaster of weather patterns. Just be spring- not "sprinter" or "wintring." That said- I'll take a day like today whenever I can get one and be grateful for it!
