Neighborhood Block Party

So, when we first went to church in our new ward, the Sunday School teacher asked where we had moved... when we told him we lived in the Ashley Heights subdivision, he mumbled something under his breath and shook his head. It was kinda funny, not meant to be taken seriously... but our new subdivision had completely obstructed the view he had had for years...I'd hate us too! Well, bygones... we were all invited to a get-together at his house tonight. They provided all the meat and drinks, and invited all of our whole families! It wasn't till we got there that Jon asked if this was a way to poison us all! He said he wouldn't eat any of the meat till one of the hosts ate it first! Leave it to Jon, right? It was so nice of the Barkers to have us over. The food was great, the company was better... we had a ton of fun getting to know our neighbors better!

Ali ate more chips than anything else... so healthy.

Jon enjoyed himself, despite the calloused expression on his face. I'm sure the look was more for the fact that I blogged this, than anything else!

It's a little blurry, but that's all Gage was all night, a blur!

Looks like fun! Barkers will be some of the best neighbors you have. Lucky you! :)

Ali's plate looks exactly like Kamryn's would. At least she didn't go hungry.
