Our First Nativity

In an e-mail I recieved and forwarded not too long ago, it asked the question, "Do you own a nativity?" to which I answered "no." I had no idea what a travisty I had alerted the family to until Thanksgiving evening when someone brought it up after dinner. It's not that I haven't wanted one, it's just that the one I want is really, really expensive! But I understand it being a necessity, and for the kids especially. The next time the kids were at Grandma's they were given their Christmas present early- this DARLING nativity set from Fisher Price. I love it! We set it up on the floor right next to the Christmas tree where the kids could play with it. They absolutely love it, and it's so fun to see them play with it. I hope it helps them understand better the true meaning of Christmas. They definately aren't getting as spoiled as they have in the past- but hopefully they get more out of it in the end. The nativity is a start, right? Thank You Grandma Anah!

I love our Fisher Price nativity. The hard part is gathering all the pieces up when you put Christmas away. My kids like to haul off the angels.

I have been eyeing that nativity for a couple years now. It is so cute. Maybe I'll break down and get one next year.
