Honestly though, I have been trying to get a picture of these pheasants for a while now. About 2 weeks ago on my way to work I noticed a ton of them on the side of the road. I counted 13 of them just hangin out watching the cars go by! Then a couple mornings later, just before I left for work, there were two big roosters out the back side of my house "fighting" and putting on quite a show for a hen that was watching them. I wanted to get a picture of that, but couldn't find my camera. They've been really noisy here and there, and I've tried to get a good picture, but I'm never able to, so this morning when I heard one, I grabbed the camera and went bare footed outside. It was so cool to be able to get 3 of them in the photo! There were actually two more too, that I couldn't focus on, but these 3 were right there! It's looking to me like we have too many males, and not enough females! I love to see them though, they are such beautiful birds! Prettier by far than the old rooster in the chicken coupe!

You REALLY went outside without your shoes on?!!!! I can totally relate to this. You LOVE taking pictures just as I do! Keep it up, it's such a FUN hobby!!! Did you sign up for Carin's class yet????????? She has a spot just for you in August! :)
Sis Barker said they all got out a couple weeks ago and they haven't been able to round them up again. My kids love to follow their tracks around the back yard but now that the snow's gone I don't know what they'll do.
Cool Steph! When does Pheasant Season open anyway? LOL! jk! Do you want to go to the gym wednesday?
Hi Stephanie! Love the pictures...Is there still snow up there and did you run around the house without your shoes on too? Garett would be so proud!
