Birthday Tubing!

These are before and after pictures of Gage's near death experience. I think that's what he thought anyway! I'd never done it before, (and judging Gage's reaction, I doubt he'll ever do it again!) but on Saturday ( which was also my birthday) we went to Soldier Hollow in Midway for some serious tubing. It was awesome in a really scary-lose-all-control-and-careen-down-a-hill-at-35-40-miles-an-hour-to-certain-death sort of way. I think I peed a little, it was terrifying! The first time I went down I had no idea that I was supposed to dig my feet into the packed-so-hard-it-may-as-well-be-an-ice-rink groomed tube run at the bottom and literally hit the fence-throwing my whole self into an absolute back-flip over the fence! Exhilirating right? What a way to celebrate the graduation to year 32!

Ali thoroughly enjoyed herself- outdoing all of us in the amount of times she went down, trusting her life to the person in the tube attached to her- luckily we were all successfull in staying alive...here are other pictures from the festivities.
