Tracking Dinosaurs...

I'm a little stingy with my kids on Sunday. It's "family" day...no friends. The neighbor kids are getting used to it, and come over to ask if the kids can play a lot less than they did before.  We started going on hikes during the summer on Sundays last year, and still do it this year, but less because of our church schedule.  We go whenever we can, and today, we decided to go again, only Jon never tells me where we're going. We ended up at Red Fleet and hiked over to the Dilaphosaurus tracks. We've been on that side before, but it's usually about a 20 second trip across the water on our jet ski's! It was a beautiful hike though, and I loved it, but it was HOT! So hot in fact, that as soon as we got near water, my husband and HIS daughter were soaking wet! (The buoy in the water says "NO DIVING." Go figure.)

I have always said that there are those for whom the rules apply and those for whom they don't...Wonder which category Jon fits into...Hummmmmm. Looks like a great way to make the hike back a little cooler! Fun stuff.

There is NO WAY I would ever be able to dive off of that. Also, I want your camera because there is NO WAY mine would have been able to capture it! lol. Looks like fun though. I've got tons of ideas for the other blog. Now I just need more time....

What a great way to spend a Sunday! I would never let my hubby do that dive but he made it look easy!
