A Boy and His Dog...

I'm really going to miss this weather. Come next week and we may be dealing with snow, so I'm taking every opportunity I can get to spend time outside. Today, I let Mya out of the kennel and gave her free-reign of the house and the yard. She's mellowed out so much in her old age, and she's become the dog I always wanted. I love it when she gets playful, and even more so when she plays with the kids. Gage is probably the most talented when it comes to Mya...he moves a certain way, and so does she, simple commands that I give, I have to to yell or sound mean. Gage can just use one hand movement and Mya is rolling over. I didn't even know she knew how to do that! Like I said though, my sweet dog is getting old- as beautiful as she is, so we can't take for granted this time we have with her. The thing I hate most about pets is their life-span.

She is a beautiful dog. I am glad that Gage is good with her. When she was young I worried :) Can't wait to see you guys this weekend. Tell Jon to pretend to enjoy himself...We really do love having him around!
