Building Confidence...

There have been few things in my life that make me a more confident individual. I can feign confidence pretty well- it's my job to "act" the part cause people expect it of me when I'm working. I know a bit about furniture, design, and I'm learning more and more about photography. But watching my son develop his confidence is so completely hilarious- I have to share...

I found a "love-note" he wrote tonight- Dear Zoey... it went on- telling her he has always loved her...since the first grade!- that she is like a star in the sky...wow. He told me today that he blew her a kiss and she smiled at him...so tomorrow- he's going to just go right up to her and tell her that he loves her. He even said, "Mom, that's the closest I will have ever been to her!" Heaven help me! What do I do? Derail his new found confidence and tell him to spare himself the embarrassment? The girl is a FOURTH grader! Live and learn, right?

On the same subject, I made it through the wedding, and can safely say it was a complete success. My only problem now is weeding out the "not perfect" shots and narrowing down the 860 photo's to a more reasonable number. I don't want to get rid of any of them! I'm only into it about 15 pictures so far...but it's going to be great...here's a cute one...

And the rest are even better!  The confidence is growing!  I think I love weddings!  This was really fun!

Oh Gage, he is destined to have his heart broken a few times isn't he...We can only hope! In the 2nd grade I married my boyfriend! It was on the school playground. I wore my moms floral scarf as a veil. It lasted about 3 and 1/2 minutes or until the bell rang AND there was NO kissing...YUCK!

Cute picture with all the little kido's...

I am happy that you are finding things to do that you love, even if it requires branching out and learning new things. I struggle with that. I just sort of keep doing the same ol', same ol'. Good for you! I am excited to see the rest! LoR
