What are you grateful for?

So, I've learned over the years the best way to be happy is to FIND things to be grateful for. When you're thankful for more, you take less for granted. Things become positive, no matter the situation. When I saw this, I had to have it... and I'm so glad I saw people starting their "thankful for" challenges on Facebook, cause this reminded me to start! I'll have a new one everyday- and I challenge you to follow along! It's amazing how much better your days will go with a grateful heart!

There are so many people I could mention here.  People overcoming trials I could never imagine going through, let alone being grateful for!  But the one that comes to mind is a friend from High School.  I don't know if he even remembers me, but I remember him.  I remember thinking what an amazing example he was.  Jarem lost his leg as a child to cancer, and had lived with a prosthetic leg ever since.  He has come so far.  Never has he let anything stop him from doing anything any of us do- and then doing so many things so much better!  If you have a second, watch the video at the link below.

(Jarem is the one that looks like Frodo Baggins)
My trials seem pretty minor compared, but no matter how small they may seem to some, they are real, and hard for me.  Right now, just the stress of letting people down is killing me.  I have so much on my plate, and I know I should be better about it, but I find myself shutting down and feeling sorry for myself instead of pushing forward and trying harder.  In all actuality, I should be grateful for this kind of trial.  It means people find me dependable.  They value the job I do, so they ask me to do it.  I'm busy because I do a good job.  I am grateful for my talents.  I do love what I do.  And looking at it this way is already helping me want to do better.
