Princess Salon Party!

Pretty Princesses! Ali has been so excited all week to go to her friend Kamryns birthday party. They went to Prime Cut Academy and the stylists there did their hair and painted their fingernails and toenails. They had so much fun and came home ready for a photo shoot!

Once they had had enough of the picture taking, the true colors of our little girls came out. I really don't think Tanner Frew would have volunteered for this if he knew Ali could really take him down... or maybe he was just being nice- regardless, Ali tackled him good!

Ali had a busy day- and so did I! I left to take Ali to school and planned on spending the rest of the day out of my house! Jon tracked me down at Lori's house that afternoon- I had forgotten my cell phone- because he had to go pick up Gage at school. I think he got a migraine headache, he complained about his head hurting, but he threw up and slept all afternoon. I don't know though, it could have been something else, he did have a little bit of a fever, but he seems to be doing a lot better tonight. Hopefully it wasn't contageous whatever the case!

I also had a meeting tonight with 3 of my friends who've agreed to a food group. I can't wait to get started and see how it works. Jon has little faith and thinks I won't be able to do it. That cooking even just one day a week is way too much to ask of me. Only time will tell. I think it sounds wonderful, I can't wait to start.

I'm still hungry. I can't wait to get it going. I think we need e-mails for everyone on the calendar along with the phones...When it's my turn to do the calendar I want you guys to e-mail me the info so I don't have to type it all. I'm so lazy.

I'm in a group as well!!! I LOVE LOVE LOVE it. It is divine. If my group ever kicks me out or quits, I better be number 1 on your list to join yours!!!

I was just telling Edgar that I wanted to come up with some people interested in doing the same thing and he said, "Don't ya have to know how to cook to be in one of those groups, or will they teach'ya?"

The poor guy must be starving after being married to me for 4 years...

I love it when husbands have so much faith in you...I think it sounds fun, you'll have to let me know how it goes!

I love the nails, Morgan always wants different colors on every nail too!

I have a friend that use to do it. One day a week she would make 4 of the same thing and deliver it. Her friends did it the other days. So all her meals were taken care of for the week, excluding weekends. I know she really liked it because she got to try all kinds of recipes. It was easy for her to come up with just one dish and it was cheaper to prepare that extra times than have 5 different meals to make. She doesn't do it now because she moved out further away from that group of friends. I think they still get together once a month for recipe exchanges. I have thought of doing it but my husband doesn't trust others ablity to make what he likes. He is kindof picky. I think it sounds like fun. I get in the mood where I like to cook and always like to bake. Then i get burned out and no longer want to cook, but I'll make dessert. I have a hard time thinking of things to make and then going through the processes when I don't know if my family will even like it. when I know they like it, it's easier to want to cook. Good luck! and your daughter is darling!
