Totally depressing...

OK, I have to say, I really really REALLY didn't want to come home today. We didn't stay away nearly long enough! There was a lot I still wanted to do- like go back to the beach and waste the whole day taking pictures! Needless to say, I was a little depressed coming home.

We had an eventful trip, to say the least. It started when we pulled up to the beach house my mother-in-law was going to be staying at and got a phone call from Jons sister telling us she'd been in an accident with Jons mom, her two kids and her husband. It was awful too! The car was a mess, and those 5 were so so lucky it didn't do anything but munch Anah's luggage beyond repair!

Once everyone was settled enough to get out and about, the fun started- and Jon had to beg me to get out from behind my camera long enough to enjoy something besides taking pictures! I have to say, as much as I love photography, I'm glad he got me to put the thing down and play with the kids. We had so much fun! Memories made for sure!

Jon's family is a riot! Of course we had the normal drama- everyone gets on eachothers nerves pretty easily when there are 22+ people you are trying to keep happy! But we had a lot of fun together. We rented a 9 person surry- the little vehicle you have to pedal together to make it go...they are legal in the streets in Seaside and it's hilarious to watch people try to obey traffic laws while manuvering, pedaling and pushing! We were worn out after the first time around the block, only to hear the sound of a tiny motor barreling towards us with none other than my husband and his older brother Gary riding the easy way clad in funny looking helmets! They kept us laughing all night...after going on the bumper cars 4 or was it 5 times? just to try to kill eachother, racing the go-carts and battling it out in the arcade, they still hadn't had enough and played Monopoly (a Tucker boy tradition) till 1:00 in the morning!

We were so grateful to be able to visit Oregon together as a family! We've been looking forward to it for a year now, and it was no disappointment! Staying with Jon's dad is like staying in a five star hotel! The house is amazing, the veiw is spectacular and company is so nice. We couldn't have been more comfortable and we appreciate SO MUCH their hospitality!

These are just a few of the photos I shot while I was there... I won't bore you all with them all just yet, but I'm sure I'll post more later. I guess it's good to be home?
