Life is good though. Team Tucker is just pluggin away! School starts in a week and a half- I spent the whole summer working 4 days a week instead of 3 and even though it was only one day extra, I feel like I spent way more time there than at home. I don't like 4 days a week, 3 is much easier to manage. Photography is keeping me busy too, I just have to be careful not to let it interfere. It's hard cause I want to be easy, and helpful to the people who call me, but getting too busy was never in the cards for me. I really enjoy it, and just don't want to start not enjoying it! I get to go to a workshop this week - something I've been wanting to do forever. It's kind of a one day mentoring, the photographer teaching it is incredibly talented and down to earth- almost as funny as me too! ;)
Speaking of photography, I submitted some of my photos to the radio station, they were putting together a tribute video for the Marine funeral. I watched it the other day, and all of the photos I submitted are in the video! I'd like to believe it's because of my incomparable talent, but I don't think they got too many submissions...ah well, it's still really cool to see my work being shown and watched by so many!
I gave the lesson in RS today, on Family Responsibilities. It was an easy lesson, and I enjoyed being up there again. Unofficially- I'm the new second Sunday teacher.... unofficially cause they haven't released the old one yet! I probably shouldn't say anything yet, but I don't know too many people in my ward who even tune in to Team Tucker! I was compassioned out. I think they figured they better move me so I'd come back to church! I found a quote though that I loved, my sister in law has always kept it on her blog, and I love it:

Keeps me thinking of my priorities. It was me up on the stand today, telling myself what I should be doing and shouldn't be taking for granted. I gave myself a lot to think about! Maybe that's a good thing.

Glad you found the writer of that quote. I wrote it down off a wall in a childrens clothing store in Scottsdale, Az. It's a good one. It is so very very true.
And AMEN to summer ending too soon. Sigh...
Summer went much too quickly for me too, but I am ready for more of a schedule!
I admire anyone who teaches RS, I would be petrified if I ever had to do that! And I LOVE that quote!
And time marches on. Why is it that it is the only thing that seems to go faster as we get older? ~CrAzY~
